We had a nice weekend in Beaumont!

Friday: Dallas won Winners Dog & Best of Winners under Mr. Donovan Thompson.

Saturday: Dallas went Winners Dog and Violet won her class and was Best Puppy under Mr. Vincent Grosso.
Also, Anna won Veteran’s and Best of Veteran’s.

Sunday: Dallas got Winners Dog under Mr. Larry F. Mackai.

The firsts are important.

I went to my mailbox today and was very excited to find that I had gotten Violet’s very first picture from her first show ever. She was exactly 6 months old on the day of her show debut and the judge P.A.L. Smith said very kind words about her and how much she really liked her. The little princess went Reserve Winners Bitch…
Hope you all enjoy the picture……. I’m very proud of her.

Oh, I was shocked today when I weighed her and she weighed 64.6 pounds!

Story from today’s Good Morning America dealt with Dr. David Waters and his study of geriatric Rottweilers in relation to cancer.

For 23 days Dr. Waters -from the Gerald P. Murphy Cancer Foundation – traveled the country on the ‘Grey Muzzle Tour’, seeking out the nation’s oldest Rottweilers.
